Why we use GREEN LED lights and not any other?
The human eye sees color over wavelengths ranging roughly from 400 nanometers (violet) to 700 nanometers. Light
from 400-700 nanometers is called visible light or the visible spectrum (see »Visible Spectrum Table«). The human eye
response is most sensitive in the green, peaking around 555nm (see »Eye Color Sensitivity« chart). Conclusion: Green color is the most sensitive and visible color for the human eye and therefore the most suitable to use for the road users visibility and safety!
